For Catalina

PT I. The other night I was taking a stroll along the Bosphorus (no big deal) when I look over at one of the buildings and I see an advertisement for...CHILI'S. GRILL. AND. BAR. Opening/has already opened in Etiler, on the European side of Istanbul (which, if I'm not mistaken, is the neighborhood my dad is from). Don't worry, I'll wait until you visit to eat there.

PT II. Last night I saw, for the first time, the TV show "Var Mısın Yok Musun" which is pretty much a more hilarious Turkish version of "Deal or No Deal". A couple of key points: the host is orange, the audience (not just family members, but everyone) gets super involved/upset/tears are in their eyes, and when the contestant decided not to take the final risk (same as Deal or No Deal, the banker called and offered more after he had just lost heck of money, etc.) other bro contestants on the show totally ripped him a new one (!!!) for a few very, very uncomfortable minutes before this girl on the show told them to STOP!!!, at which point everyone applauded his decision. It was insane. Insanely awesome.
